2027 Tour De France Grand Départ in Cumbria

Cumbria will host two stages of men’s 2027 Tour De France Grand Départ!

Fans, the world’s best teams, and a global audience will descend on our region as the world's biggest race comes to Great Britain.

A Stage One finish in Carlisle and a Stage Two start in Keswick will both feature in the 2027 Tour De France, with the opening stage of the men's Tour de France travelling from Edinburgh to Carlisle on Friday 2 July 2027.

Stage Two travels from Keswick on Saturday 3 July 2027 - through the Lake District and Lancashire to finish in Liverpool the same day.

You don’t need a ticket to attend. You can enjoy the spectacular sight of the world’s best professional teams and riders racing through Cumbria’s beautiful landscapes free of charge.

The event promises to be an incredible, colourful spectacle featuring a family friendly atmosphere.
